Seaglassing, Page 11

For those of you not in the know, those are some of the rarest sea glass colors in the world.  A seaglasser would probably have a heart attack if they saw this much orange, red, purple, and pink sea glass.  These bits used to be things like artisan perfume bottles, antique tableware, and, at least in red's case, these colors of glass are also difficult to produce, involving a mixture of gold and glass.

Seaglassing, Page 9

This is definitely my favorite Seaglassing page so far.  This is the page I've been most wanting to draw since I started this short comic.

I like to think of this as the mother Mishepishu examining the little Mishy's human friend.

Turns out the Mishepishu wasn't exactly a full grown sea monster...and it has a parent!  Will the parent also take a fancy to the seaglasser?

Hey, if you haven't checked it out yet, I've got Lightning Dog for sale on Etsy now!

Mishepishu's making the seaglasser's life eeeaaasssyyy...but, hey, where's it going off to?

Who is a collectors best friend?  Someone that helps them collect!

Seaglassing, Page 5

Another page of Seaglassing!  Looks like someone's making friends with the Mishepishu...

On a different note, I've got 50 copies of Lightning Dog coming in about a week and a half!  I'm planning on opening up a little online store, probably through Etsy, and selling them starting on June 24.  Pretty exciting!

WHOAH!  What is that?!  Bet you didn't expect to see a little Mishepishu hiding in the driftwood!

Like I mentioned at the beginning of this short tale, the story I'm telling in "Seaglassing" is inspired, in large part, by Lake Erie.  Lake Erie has a small, weird menagerie of cryptids associated with it, but Mishepishu, the mythical "underwater cat" of the Anishinabe culture, is probably the coolest.
