*gollum* The theme of December for The Agile Eye art group that I’m a part of here in Phoenix is “Classic Fiction.” I decided to draw the version of Gollum I pictured in my head when I was younger, all black-skinned and green-eyed. The feature films for The Lord of the Rings are awesome, and I really like them…but watching the new Hobbit movie recently got me thinking about how differently I imagined each character back when I was reading the books.
